Hi, I’m Negra, the photographer behind Glimmers On Film. I'm so glad you're here! The name “Glimmers” comes from the small, fleeting moments that bring a sense of joy, safety, and warmth—the ones that might seem ordinary at the time, but become the memories we hold onto most.

 

I am drawn to film photography because of my mom. She was always capturing moments—big and small—and because of that, I now have so many tangible memories to hold in my hands. They aren’t perfectly posed or polished, but they’re real. They reflect exactly how those moments felt.

Film has a way of preserving that feeling—the softness, the blur, the grain of a moment in time—bringing a sense of nostalgia into the present. 

 

While I’m at the beginning of my journey as a photographer, storytelling and observing have always been a part of who I am. I’m deeply drawn to the in-between moments: the quiet gestures, the unspoken connections, the feeling of being at home with the people you love.

 

My sessions are relaxed and unhurried. I won’t ask you to be anything other than yourselves. Instead, I gently guide when needed and create space for real moments to unfold naturally.

 

I’m currently offering sessions at a discounted rate as I continue to build my portfolio, and I’m especially grateful for those who feel connected to this style and are willing to take a chance on a new artist.

 

Whether I’m documenting a family, an intimate elopement, or the early days at home with your baby, my goal is to create images that feel honest, nostalgic, and deeply personal—photographs that you can return to and feel all over again.
